Horses have been my passion for as long as I can remember. For more than 50 years, I have dedicated much of my life to competing, training and caring for horses. During that time, I have competed on hundreds of horses and achieved numerous State and National championship titles.

My experience extends across many areas and disciplines within the equestrian industry. I have studied Equine Nutrition and Pasture Management and previously worked as a qualified consultant with the Small Animal and Equine Naturopathic Association.

​

Over the years, I have also worked as a Pony Club Chief Instructor, zone camp instructor, jumping equitation and showjumping judge, showjumping course builder and equestrian coach. For 19 years, I coordinated an interschool equestrian team and facilitated VET courses for Year 10 students completing Certificate II studies in Horse Husbandry and Rural Industry. I have also trained off-the-track Thoroughbreds. ​My favourite events include western trail, halter classes, showjumping and sporting and rodeo events. I also enjoy training young horses.

Having an experienced, reliable person available to assist with the practical care of your horses can provide valuable support and peace of mind.

Through our Strapper Service, we provide dependable assistance for you and your horse at shows and pony club events. Services can be tailored to your requirements and may include holding horses, ensuring the rider and horse are fed and watered, saddling and unsaddling, assisting with equipment, cooling horses after competition and helping to keep horses comfortable and cared for throughout the day. We are available to travel to events throughout South East Queensland.

We also offer a trusted Horse-Sitting Service for owners who are travelling or enjoying a holiday. Horses can remain comfortably in their familiar home environment while receiving reliable care according to their established routines and your written instructions. Services may include feeding, checking and refilling water, changing rugs, checking paddocks, yards and stables, monitoring each horse’s general wellbeing and providing updates for your peace of mind.
